conjunction with a US/South Vietnamese thrust into Cambodia to engage North
Vietnamese forces there, B-52s began a series of night sorties against Cambodian
targets and in the following two months flew 4,308 sorties and dropped 120,528
tons of bombs. |

C-5A Galaxy became operational with MAC at Scott AFB, VA and took its place
alongside the C-141A StarLifter on supply flights to Europe and Southeast

contract was awarded to Boeing to develop and integrate an airborne warning

and the US signed a renewal of their mutual defence agreement, allowing
